any suggestion?

26 March 2008, Wednesday

any suggestion what should i be doing during 18/4-5/5?
thought of part time job, it's a great idea, but i am kinda picky...
ain't interested in being a bored promoter, it's the same as wasting time. perhaps, the only difference is that one i get money from it, and one i don't...
i love to do something interesting.
something that would benefit me and gives me self-satisfaction...
something that can occupy my time yet i enjoyed it...

thought of signing up for camps, but what camp?
thought of flying overseas to aussie or UK, but air fares are darn expensive...
thought of getting myself a part time job, which at least i can earn some extra money... but any fun jobs in the market for only that few tens of days?
thought of going for a fun trip with friends, but it seemed like my last day of exam is so erm... late... ah gwen will be going back to penang a day after my exam, while mei might be back to klang much earlier...

never like the thought of getting bored at home.
it's just food and tv, which very much kills me bit by bit...
i can just imagine what will be happening to the poor me if i were to stuff myself in the house with only four walls to talk to everyday...
it's just so..... unproductive!!!

haih.. stephz ah, you were complaining about how hectic you were last few weeks and how you wished that you can take a break. now that you have one you complain pulak! what the heck?

i need help!!! insanity freako! i bet even psychologists have no time for me for that few tens of days. haih...

ReViVal...

15th March 2008, Saturday.

i guess it's time for me to revive my blog...

what happened to me...
a month or two ago, aple says, "girl, you've changed."

last week, after a session of group interview done (by me), aple says, "girl, not that there isn't any word suitable to describe you, but i just can't think of any now. i guess the best word now to describe you is that... you are so Ms. V!"

em... only UCSI psychology students know who the heck is Ms. V. for those who don't know her, i have difficulty descibing her too.

yeah, i admit, i am starting to immitate her in a way. i think her skills are superb! i adopted her as my subject of study, and she starts to appear predictable to me (only a little, cause there's a long way to go). but i guess, throughout the whole process of studying her, i kind of lose my originality. i am acquiring new skills, but not manifesting it the way other people recognised me as. i am cloning myself into other people's image, rather than reproduce the new me.

i took aple's comment as a compliment nonethelss. cause it proved my success in observing and studying someone that i think is influential, and putting it into practice. it kind of improved me in the sense that now, my thoughts are on par with my chronological age.

aple has been giving me insights. nevertheless, the environment, the people, the things around me appeared to be so interesting. everything seems to be proving to me that knowledge really do come from all around.

...............................................................

i regard myself as the "lucky brat". i had a lot of surprises these days. but the other part of me kept telling me that every good thing comes with something bad. they are in a package. no matter how much effort i put in to omit the thought, it just can't be helped.

..............................................................

it was assignments period, and still is. throughout this period, i have proved myself wrong. my strength appeared to be way greater than what i thought. discipline came into the picture, guarding the whole process of battle between thoughts and actions. the mind has done wonders, maximising the capacity in constantly acquiring new knowledge. introspection has proved me right, that i am more than what others thought i could be.

hectic, immensed feelings of stress and restlesness. so many things to be done within so short period of time, interviews, ethnography, reports, and other things to be juggled. really appreciate other people's contribution as a partial fulfilment of my assignments.

gratitude...

.........................................................

missing out on a lot of things. friends especially. hadn't been spending time with friends lately, even in college.

library was the only place i decided to be in whenever i am free. no fooling around for a student with 9 assignments within 1 month. data must be collected on time, reports must be compiled before due dates. proof-reading wasted plenty of my time, yet it's an indispensable process.

i love hanging around with friends. just love all of them.

education broadens minds. assignments offers self-satisfaction. they are all that makes life happy... who wouldn't agree?
