Oh happy day...
Was really excited to wake up early today. I helped my mom mopped the floor and we went to market together and bought a lot of children stickers and books and stuff as my mom's company retreat children prizes. Had lots of fun choosing and admiring kid's stuff, especially stickers. I was enchanted and thrilled when I saw those stickers as they reminded me of my childhood days. If someone were to give me a bunch of sticker albums and toys back then, I would be overjoyed!
Waited for Sean to come pick me. I was rather a lil' impatient. (Aiks!) This is the week, man! The week where I can treat myself like a princess! The complementary 2nights stay at Pyramid Tower from my beloved uncle was indeed something that I looked forward to. At last, I can pamper myself after the dreadful month of working in mid valley.
Checked in around 3pm, checked out the room (sweet~), checked out the voucher that was given to me, and called for reservation at Avanti Italian American Restorante for the night after. College's close friends are coming to join me tomorrow! Uh hu, I am feeling happy~~~
Had a short nap, Sean took his shower, we went to Pyramid shopping mall for dinner and shopping. We didn't manage to buy anything because Sean was tired after half day of work, but we enjoyed our walk. Had midnight show (The Covenant, not really that nice, just fine for me.). Drank some beer and we called it a day.
29th October 2oo6, Sunday.
Woke up just on time for Spongebob Squarepant (Sean's favourite cartoon...). He bathed, I bathed, and off we go for breakfast. Food was nice (or was it because my mood was nice?). Then, went to arcade and had some fun time playing the air hockey. (uh, talking about that, my right arm is aching...)
Friends reached by 2pm. Went for lunch at the same place that we had our breakfast. Then off we go to the mall (again...). This time everyone was rather a lil' sleepy, except for Aple. (haha. She was excited!) We decided to go back to the HOTEL (yup, I must emphasize the word HOTEL cause this is the first time I am staying over at such a nice place and that I can decide to take a nap or rest anytime I wanted because I am staying in a HOTEL!). We had the so called 'power nap' and we are energized to go shop and spend (just imagine how energized Sean and I were, spending RM170++ in one go). Time flew by in a blink of an eye when we were shopping, forgetting the fact that dinner was booked at 7pm.
Reached Avanti just on time. But was put down by the irresponsible ways of those people handling reservations. What did they mean when they said that they've tried to call for the whole day but just can't get thru? I don't think Maxis is such lousy. Cut the CRAP! A donno-how-many-stars-hotel's restaurant kononnya...
Put that aside, we managed to get into Sun & Surf caf?. 3 of us ordered a la carte, 3 of us went for buffet dinner. Nonetheless, we enjoyed it to the maximum. Had real fun. Laughed real hard. But most of all, stuffed ourselves with food, food and FOOD! We had a complementary 1kg mud cake, but too bad, we're overloaded. And now the cake is still in my fridge. Haha! (realized that everything seemed to be complemented? I'm just a lucky gal... Gwen, nice to have you as friend too! *wink*)
Back to the hotel room, separated the king size bed. The top was nice and warm and soft, while the bottom part was hard and hard and HARD! (Uh, I am having backache now.) well, I have no choice cause since Sean VOLUNTEERED to sleep on the hard part, and no one wants to sleep with him, I have to be a lil' sacrificial lo... (Aww~~~ so sweet...
).
Before turning off ourselves, we had fun time playing cards, watching tv shows and talking craps. Oh ya, and burp-ing too! Haha.
30th October 2oo6, Monday.
Woke up. He bathed. She bathed. I bathed. They brushed teeth. Done.
Checked out. Breakfast. Off we go to Sunway theme park!
Erm... Not really that fascinating though. Cause nothing much to play. Some were closed for maintenance, even the tigers! Aiks. Was wet all the way thru after 3 rides of the splashy ride. But the best thing was that we manage to get cheaper rates (because I got some COMPLEMENTARY coupons), and it's a weekday which means lesser people on the move!
Mei was not feeling well after the Tomahawk ride (the fast and furious 360° ride). We had McD for dlunch (since meal between breakfast and lunch is brunch, the meal between lunch and dinner should be called dlunch... haha... I know... it's called tea time. But I like dlunch better. It sounded so... Dlunch.), and off we go, back to our home sweet home.
Mom came home quite late tonight due to her hectic workload. She was craving for steamboat, again... So, off we go to the restaurant near my home, waited a while for my brother to arrive. It's raining cats and dogs, cooling. It's just the best time to have something steamy hot from the pot. We really did have a great time dining together as a whole. Most of the times, or rather, all the times, my brother ain't in the picture. We joke around (if you know my mom, you'll know that she always says things like 'I have fridge in the ice-cream'.). We didn't dine together, I mean, just the 3 of us, since... wait... let me think... since... uh... it's so long ago, I couldn't even recall. We talked almost everything over the dining table, from politics to church to friends to workplace, but of course, we didn't have that much time to touch the details. And I appreciate my brother's humours. He is so funny when I saw him holding an old and rugged umbrella. It's the umbrella that I finally able to persuade my mom to throw it away because it's just so old and ugly. Somehow he picked it up from no where and used it, without knowing who was the owner and why was it abandoned.
I was indeed, very happy and satisfied with this weekend outing. I get to spend time with Sean, and on the other hand, I get to spend time with my gang before Gwen goes back to her hometown, and also had a nice bonding time with my family. For 2 months we won't be possibly seeing each other (i mean my college gang) due to the long break that we are having right now, with one in Penang and another back in Klang. Some of us are going to work within this period of time and we'll all have no time for one another. So yeah wives, enjoy your holidays and don't miss me... Mei, when can we go eat Klang Bak Kut Teh???
Sean, thank you for this precious weekend. Although I can see you everyday, we might not be spending quality time as such together due to your work. I really wanted to spend my birthday with you, but I have no choice but to go to the Rompin trip, or else my mom would have stories to tell, again. Love you.
Dear beloved kau fu (uncle), thank you for everything that you've given me. I indeed, enjoyed the stay. It was so thoughtful of you to remember my birthday. I love you lots, and kam mou (aunt), and Arthur, and Esther, and Victoria, and baby victor. Muaks muaks muaks.
(erhem! cannot upload photos la... haih... sedaya...)

Update Update.... *wink*
It has been a hectic month for me, rushing for assignments due dates, studying and working at the same time, preparing myself for the final exams, worrying about how to celebrate sean's birthday, worrying about looking good and 'not fat' for my class party(aiks), etc.
I have not been going online for quite some time unless I need to search for information. Just wanted to apologize to my she-buddy so much that I wasn't able to chat with her when she was in the state of confusion.
Marketing class' assignment was handed in on time, at least. Scrap the arguments, everyone actually put effort in doing their own part, and it is very wrong of me to judge anyone. So, I am sorry. I just got to know our marks for that assignment ? 18 over 30. It is rather a lil' disappointing because I thought at least we can get a slightly higher marks. Marketing exams was yesterday, and I didn't do it well too. I was quite discouraged and it will only take miracles for me to pass this subject. Everyone would be put down by me when I fail this subject, mom will need to fork out money for me to re-take a subject, family's expectation of me will be shattered (since my brother was not interested in pursuing higher education, hope was on me.), The Star scholarship in-charge people will call me up and threaten to hold back the scholarship, etc. But I know very well that I will be devastated.
Tuesday was the last day of psychology class. We decided to have a class outing in Times Square, and you've got it! IT WAS FUN! Although the food was not really up to my satisfaction, and the place was quite congested, and we went through some hassle to reserve some seats, and along the way there was some miscommunication, yet, I still do enjoy the time we had together, especially with a lecturer around. More than half of the class present that night, we mingled around till 10pm, and headed home. I just couldn’t stop looking at the pictures we took, the pictures make me happy. Wee... I'll surely remember those good moments.
the one in the middle is my psychology lecturer le... funny huh? *ngek ngek ngek*

this is a 'cheer up present from all of us, plus kevin. smile stephie! and ops, mei is being naughty naughty... *ngek ngek ngek*
Work was boring during weekdays, a lil' interesting during weekends and absolutely relieving during off days. Storekeepers there were desperate, with 2 of them asking me out for a date. Eww... Permanis (Pepsi company) people were idiots, trying to spy on us, took the videos of us talking and sent them to my agency. Yet, I am still the old me, taking long breaks in between is my hobby, and chatting with my partner is my interest. *wink*
I didn't do much on Sean's birthday, not like what Mei did for his boyfriend. I didn't give him any surprises, I didn’t do anything extraordinary, I didn't put in effort in planning any party or celebration for him. What I did was just to buy him a present that everyone scolded me for ? a pair of shoe, and I just picked up the phone and asked some of MY friend to come out for dinner with him. I just couldn't figure out what is wrong with me. Am I too lazy? Am I being selfish because it's not my birthday? I wouldn't be happy with those things if it was my birthday! Aiks!
Life is rather dull for me now. I admit that a lot of things had gotten worst than anyone can ever imagine. Nothing much, just having some conflict within me. Although holiday is just around the corner, I am in fear. Being home alone is not what I wanted. I wanted to go for holiday with friends to Pangkor, yet financially I don't think I can afford. Working is another alternative for me to break away from the home-alone phenomenon. Let’s just look forward to the family trip to Penang (I don’t really like outing with family...).

stress
it's another Thursday. somehow or rather, the thought of the day after thursday makes me feel a lil' stressed and dull. well, what to expect? i was so broke, i have so little pocket money for a week, i have a big appetite, and i love to spend! so my alternative from robbing a bank would be to work while i still have the time. first year ain't that stress. (or is this statement a myth? i feel double dose of stress right now!)
yeah~ assignment again. this time is a group assignment. and guess what? it's a marketing assignment. i really couldn't understand why are we forced to take some subjects that are not really related to our field? (ya, i know, everything is related to psychology... ladida dida...) and for god's sake, we had our first fight about discussion. i was particularly upset with one of the member. until now i couldn't figure what the hell she did! she gives the never-ending excuses that she is doing this la, doing that la, no time la, still searching for info la, the email can't get through la, blame this la, blame that la, but never admit that it's her fault! what the fuck! we can actually boycott her and inform the lecturer about her attitude and our dissatisfaction towards her, and she'll get kicked out of the group, yet, we were so good, so humble, so 'understanding', so 'helpful', so 'emphathetic', and so STUPID not to do that. i am really really really disappointed about everything that she didn't do. she is getting the marks effortlessly!
i know that i can't blame everything on her. i am not a good member either. i procrastinate until the last minute. i am reluctant to get my butt to work. i am not a perfectionist, i don't check through my work over and over again. i am just too lazy to read at all the sources and info that i got through the net. things were very hard especially during the second last week. it's stressful. everyone was stresses, especially the one who is doing the compilation of the assignment. i pity him, i truly do. because i know that we were not working hard enough, we were very lazy to use the brain. we just turned oursleves off.
everything is going to over now. at least after today, i get to lead my normal life... for a while.

B I B U B I B U....
she reminded me that i am a LUCKY MANGALI.
she reminded me that i have a although-not-that-complete-yet-only-tiny-winy-of-favouritism-practice-family.
she reminded me that i have a absolutely good and caring and always-wanting-to-pamper-me boyfriend.
she reminded me that i have a bunch of crazy friends that passed me by throughout my life.
she reminded me that i am loved and cared for even though sometimes i thought that i was alone.
she reminded me that the world ain't covered with darkness.
she reminded me that different people have different perception and thoughts.
after reading the message, i was a lil' motivated and touched. i know that i have not been writing the so called positive-and-happy-blog-entries since forever, but deep down i still embrace hope and a lil' motivation. although i might express myself as if the whole world owes me and i have nothing useful to contribute to the society and pak lah will never come to visit me and i am DOOMED, i am still happy and satisfied during some occasion. the not-so-good side of me is that i like to complain, complain and complain. but i can hardly complaint in front of people because i don't want to be labeled as THE ALWAYS-COMPLAINING GIRL, so i figured that writing it down would be the best solution. when i am really really unhappy, i chose to write down everything so that when i am on the dying bed, i can reflect and at least laugh at my own stupidity, and i'll laugh till death.
wee...
in a nutshell (ops, am i writing an formal essay? uh uh, did i include an introduction, did i have enough points, and uh, did i write according to format? nah~~ scrap that. it's just another form of entertainment from, yours truly. hahaha), i am a.....
LUCKY MANGALI!

tada!
I always couldn't understand the art of being optimistic. How can anyone be so optimistic about everything that had happened to them, or things that they are currently going through, and predictable evil events that are going to take place in the future? I wasn't so sure about that myself though.
Everyone is giving me all kinds of positive comments, and that actually made me feel as if they don't really understand me, that they are not putting their feet into my shoes. (although my shoe stinks at times.) Sometimes I needed some kind of scolding for me to realize that I am lucky enough to get something that others might not be able to get. I know very well that some of the comments posted here were just to entertain me. (no hard feelings fellow friends, as long as I know that you all made the effort to cheer me up, it's already more than enough, and better than those who just sit back and pity this pathetic little me.)
People around me, who are dear to me, always give me the impression that some things can be easily done. I got motivated at that moment, but right after when I realized that things weren't that easy, my dreams and visions were shattered right at that point of time. My thoughts are frequently being bombarded by those words that the 'pessimists' said, and now I am taking advises lightly because I don't wish to expect something that I think is beyond my limitations. Please, I don't need any false hope.
I am definitely not good in putting my trust on others. I take promises lightly, and I don't think promises are made forever. People may just say something at that point of time because you are not in good condition, especially when you are suicidal. Some well-known people even believed that promises are meant to be broken. Prove me if I am wrong. How do you explain divorce? The 'I do-I do' vows that a couple made can be broken like snapping a finger. Agreements signed can be twisted and become invalid. Even if there's black and white agreement, it does not guarantee you anything, nothing at all. What more verbally? I will never do this, I will always do that, I will be there by (what) time for luncheon, I will never take things for granted, etc... I am developing that promises-phobia.
Wee...
Btw, scrap away those NEGATIVE thoughts (i can't believe that i am actually saying this, hallelujah!), and let's focus on something happy! uh, my finals will end by the 26th oct, then 27th oct we will be going to kev's house for 'pre-house-shifting-party', then on the 28th-30th oct i will be like a queen staying in the hotel for 2nights and just relax... (yupz, i've changed the dates to accomodate the PARTY!)
a lil' time for photo session now.

argh! i decided to give up uploading photos. blogspot sucks in this. aiks!

...
those were the days when we had our every-saturaday-activities in school, recess together, making fun of one another. i really did enjoy the moments when we sat at the small shed in the school (astaka) and talked about eveything under the sun. those were the days where we actually skipped the chinese language classes and chat the whole day through. i really did reminisce about the days we had together.
somehow or rather, i felt as if things are not the same anymore. there's one point in time i felt rather insecure. i was a lil' jealous when i saw the friends hanging around them, when i was not in the picture, when we actually seldom contact each other anymore. the last time that we actualy hung out together was during his birthday. i was looking forward to the occassion, yet it didn't turn out the way i was expecting. it wasn't that fun for me, i felt a lil' left out, and the feeling wasn't the same as last time anymore. i no longer felt the sense of belonging. everyone of us looked stress, everyone of us seemed to have not allocated enough time to spend together, everyone of us seemed a lil' intolerant and grumpy.
we had such fun during secondary school. having rojak together, sharing our favourite veg, teasing him who ain't that 'macho', we even worked together during school holidays. we shared our problems with one another, even the private things we talked through together. most of the times we were not able to give any good advises, we seemed to trust one another though.
things started to change when we had bf. she had a happy relationship, and i were just starting to have bf. he was left alone, and he felt a lil' upset and lonely. we were constantly hanging out with our bf, while he was left there entertaining himself, all alone. moving on to form6 didn't make things well. we were having conflict whether to choose science or art stream. we moved on to different classes, and i've been rather a lil' outdated. but we still did contact one another, sometimes.
now that everyone of us are in different universities, which are so far apart, we have no time for one another. assignments and different break time kept us further apart. we no longer can get together that often. hopefully we'll still remember one another even after a long period of time.
take care buddies.

waiting-to-go-home-thoughts
it has been quite a long while from the previous me having a laptop with me (plus internet connection) and at the same time sitting down compiling what was really on my mind in words. most of the times i weren't lucky enough to have a laptop with me whenever i was in deep thoughts. i realized that i actually paused and think very frequently in a day. i was too lazy and not motivated to jot down my every thoughts onto a piece of paper. i guess if i were to do so, i wouldn't be surprise to see that 9 out of 10 are actually negative thoughts.
i just had a 'surprise-earlier-birthday-present' from my uncle. he gave me a a choice of either staying at sunway resort (2days1night) or pyramid tower (3days2nights) as a birthday present. i thought it was a joke at first. anyway,i've booked 27-29th oct, which happens to be a friday, sat and sun. although i am sure that it was some complementary coupons that someone gave it to him, yet i was still very happy that he actually remembered my birthday... now i am having another dilemma. who should i ask to go along with me? is my mother actually expecting me to take her along? should i chose her or him? or should i just go alone? or should i ask chi ling? or my buddy and her bf and vitkiz? or stephie, gwen, mei, aple u all wanna go? actually i was hoping that we can resume our 'previous-lagoon' plan. i don't mind having sest and ray they all to tag along, but i guess the room will be way too small for 10 grown ups. aiks! or or or uncle jit, pr foo wanna come? (hahaha...) herhm, i guess to minimise my STRESS, i'll spend 2 nights there alone, also a way to cut down my expenses and to relax and sleep, sleep and sleep.
talking about birthday, i am not expecting anything, after all it's not any happy ocassion. DUH~ i was brought into this world just to suffer what... i guess i shouldn't overgeneralized, there were still some happy events that happened in this wicked world. btw, i have been celebrating birthdays for 20 years, birthdays are just some ocassion to remind you that you are one step nearer to contracting some adult-prone diseases, cancers, ageing, etc... but if i were to think this way, i will no longer have any motivation and nothing to look forward to. sometimes my thoughts are just too contradicting. but well, the fact is that life is too short to be good.
just that day my former church had a carnival. my mom was assigned duty at her cg's stall and it seemed to me that she enjoyed the carnival a lot. the teh tarik contest was super funny where at the end of the tarik-ing, nothing left in the mug, all on the floor, haha. and also pr. matt was dunk by his aggresive youths into the pool of water. OMG. i was really hoping to be there, but i was not in a good mood that saturday morning, and also if i were to go, i will be having transportation problem to go to work. sunday was not a good day cause the carnival only started at 1pm. aiks!
psychology assignment was given back by mr james. i was quite pleased with my result. nopz, i am not showing off, it's just that when i reflected back on what i had gone through, i felt that everything was worth it. the first day i got my assignment paper i was like OH GOSH, an authobiography? ladida dida, it sounded way easier but you know, when you actually need to insert some theories and cite the references and search for relevant information and scratching your head till bald to figure out how to compile your life with theories and constantly minding the format and citation of the sources, everything seems... difficult! i was constantly worried and concurrently having stress while i thought of the assignments. i was not motivated to start the assignment at all. until the final week, i begun to panic. as days passed by, i had insomnia, constantly bugging sean even though it was late at night. yet i was able to come out with the assignment 3 days before the due date and i had time to check through. although i still made a lot of spelling and grammatical errors (which i don't understand why did that happen since i've check through more than 5 times, perhaps i've sent the draft instead of the final one for printing.), i am happy with mr james comments. he sounded as if he UNDERSTANDS! uh... who knows, he's a psychology lecturer. *wink*
i just got a phone call from IGB mid valley. they're needing people for the christmas promotions and events, 2-26dec. and they seriously need macho guys to help out the petite girls, u know, carrying heavy stuff, climbing the ladder, etc. so if any one of u guys interested can give me a call le, or leave msg on my board and i'll tell them. anyway, i'm in!
my weekends
the first day of work was a lil' scary. what do u expect? first day of work, not knowing anyone, no one there to supervise me, and i need to constantly check the stock and replenish them onto the display shelves. Oi! i was alone handling all sorts of situation, of course i am a lil' afraid.
i spent most of my time figuring what posture suits me the most, whether should i stand straight, or stand on one feet, or just stand as if i don't have a backbone. customers come and go, without realizing that there was actually a statue hiding behind the stacks of Pepsi MAX. i figured that everytime when there is a promoter standing next to the product, there will only be one of the two possible outcome. first is that the sales of the certain product will increase. secondly, which i think is more applicable to me, is that the promoter will actually scare ppl away. i realised that there are too many stereotypes of customers. 1) those who only ask a lot, yet without the intention of buying. 2) those who looked as if the whole world owes him/her everything, yet when being approach, will take up the product (obviously without a smile). 3) those who show a lot of pitiness, who takes the product when being approached, and the next minute put at other shelves somewhere out of my sight. 4) this is the most critical and s**king customer who acts as a spy, to see whether you are doing ur duty well.
after hours of standing, i thought it would be good to be off duty earlier. (i shouldn't disclose the time, spy is everywhere. aiks!) somehow or rather i know my beloved supervisor would pop out and spy on me, so i chose to sit near the entrance so that i can rush into the supermart when the phone vibrates. yupz, my intuition told me the right thing. wee...
i had 2 piercing on the second day of work. i was quite 'not in the mood' so i thought the best thing to do is to inflict pain in me to motivate me a bit. pain creates pleasure what. haha. indeed it was very painful. ouch! i guess i had too much time to think during the few days of work, a lot of complicated and unresolved thoughts in my mind so i was constantly frowning (i hope the spy did not see it.) i've made a few decision, well, i am not going to disclose it, it wouldn't be pleasant for everyone to hear. =) i was actually thinking of having 4 piercing, but my mom's reaction towards only 2 piercing made me think twice. she was like "hey! how many holes u want? why want so many? so many for what oo?" wee...
i was indeed, not in the mood for these few days. throwing tantrums, etc... he was a lil' impatient too. he has changed, for good i guess. he was not like that last time. i was a lil' upset, but i guess i should look at the bright side, at least he is more 'man-ly' now. haha. since i have the priviledge to throw tantrums, i think he deserve to scold me too. =)
all well ends well. all bad ends worst! haha.
