lazy bum

8th May 2008, Thursday

have been really lazy updating my blog. well, let me make a short summary of what has been going on in my life...

had semester break. it's a sufficient period of time for me to reflect on things done in the past and to generate energy for the coming semester (though i should admit that it is a little far too long a break for me since i have no plans and no where to go, as well as no one to be with.)

however, there's always a bunch of friends to spend some time with during the break. went to melacca with my college wives. though it was short, though aple's missing, though there were a sense of lost in direction, though i was a little home sick (i meant A LITTLE...), though we were not able to taste the sate babi (which i got to do so later during the break), though the hotel wasn't a hotel, though there was no night life.... (i should stop though-ing huh? haha...), everything's perfect with a few of friends tagging along and having some what they called- bonding time. we had laughs, not forgetting a pinch of sarcasm, adding on a short period of sour faces. it was fun...

melacce was so dear to me this semester break. i've been there twice in just a short period of two weeks time. woo-hoo. but the second time was quite mind-bogging. it's the motel that gives me this feeling of eerie-ness. who knows? a HISTORICAL TOWN, with HOSTORICAL BUILDINGS and HISTORICAL MOTELS... phew... glad that i am home. but it was fun too, with sean... (yea, everything turns good when he's there...).

went to genting with another close friend of mine since secondary school- esther. got to stay in highland hotel which was way bigger and many times more comfortable compared to the what you called first world. ew... pathetic! had dim sum and a RM45 per serving of fried rice which taste like msg mixed with white rice with a little bits and pieces of scallop (i don't really know what it's called though) in ah yet restaurant, went for van helsing the ghost house thingy (lazy to look through my long term memory and give a proper name to it) and it doesn't even worth the price, went to the 3D motion master and it made me felt so dizzy that i have to take off the plastic thingy that was suppose to be put above the nose and in front of the eyeballs. though it might sounds really horrible, i do enjoy the whole trip, especially in casino when i get to claim some money from uncle lim's account and drink some free MILO. *wink*

aside from that, i met up with a friend from singapore- vincent. shopped in mid valley, had great times together. indescribable...

mom went to hanoi. one word -TERRIBLE. people there are RUDE, no customer service, talk improper English, worst people that she've ever met in communication, DIRTY town, yuck-y food, nothing to buy, and worst of all, they don't like orange-colored creatures. Ang Mo (white people)? WEL-KUM! really pity my mom for spending thousands of riggit to go there and suffer. haih...

now that the semester has started, tension and stress never fail to crawl up my neck. it sucks, it really do. thoughts keep haunting me, nevertheless, assignments are a pain in the butt. life will obviously be really difficult, but i have faith that i can complete and come out strong. *fingers crossed*

love the world so much, there's just so many things that human creates that is so horrible yet plesurable.
