22nd July 2oo6, saturday...

gosh... how time flies... things have been different since then till now. or perhaps it's just my perception that has changed.

1)In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. I simply can't build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery and death.
Anne Frank

2)If facts are the seeds that later produce knowledge and wisdom, then the emotions and the impressions of the senses are the fertile soil in which the seeds must grow.
Rachel Carson

3)A bore is a man who, when you ask him how he is, tells you.
by Bert Leston Taylor.

4)When people are bored, it is primarily with their own selves that they are bored.
by Eric Hoffer.

5)The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.
by Ellen Parr.

6)We are never more discontented with others than when we are discontented with ourselves.
by Henri Frederic Amiel.

7)Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.
by Robert F. Kennedy.

8)Death is not the biggest fear we have; our biggest fear is taking the risk to be alive -- the risk to be alive and express what we really are.
by Don Miguel Ruiz.

9)Let us not look back in anger or forward in fear, but around in awareness.
by James Thurber.

above are the quotes that are interesting. but these are a few favourites of mine:-
1)I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.
by Gilda Radner.

2)When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving much advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a gentle and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.
by Henri Nouwen.

3)The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.
by Theodore Hesburgh.

(while browsing through these quotes, perhaps all of you will be able to understand the mixed feelings that i am suffering from. some are my heartfelt quotes, some are just merely encouragements that had called me back from my far away world.)

last quote for the day:-
death might solve be a way to end your own problems, yet it creates a bigger problem for your love ones.
by Stephz Tan.

You are a good person with a good heart.. It is indeed saddening when life does not work out the way we want it to. You've given your best...But it just wasn't meant to be. No one is to be blamed..

Have faith.
